Online Dating (Last Updated: 4/27/14)
Animal Jam has always had people pretending to be families and so on. Having children adopted from the pillow room, and having families go for family trips.
What's really sad is that it causes drama, heartbreaking, AND non-member excluding.
I've seen people exclude non-members saying, "IF YOU LIKE ME MY DEN MEMBERS ONLY"
It's really sad.
Roleplaying? (Last Updated: 4/25/14)
Animal Jam has been riddled with roleplayers for a long time now, and roleplaying is fun! Roleplay helps your ability to write and add detail into what you say. Ever since the book, Warrior Cats, came out, it's fandom has spread to Animal Jam.
NON MEMBER EXCLUSION (last Updated: 4/17/14)
Well, I should let you know. I recently got back to animal jam after months of quitting.

In fact, it's given all jammers a pawful of fun and creativity, along with a hint of excitement!
A good, roleplay, however, is supposed to look like this. With detail, and plain simple.
Not everybody is like that, though. In fact, everybody is more like this.
Instead of roleplaying giving jammers an awesome time, pretending to be a group who travels and hunts, all you have is a bunch of what you call "mary sues", which are overpowered, cliched characters with no flaws and a very badly drawn character. Roleplaying has now given younger kids a glimpse of violence.
It's a shame.
NON MEMBER EXCLUSION (last Updated: 4/17/14)
Well, I should let you know. I recently got back to animal jam after months of quitting.
The reason I quit was because the community was horrible.
I was hoping the place would change after a while, but I guess I was wrong.
I just came to a "FIND A WOLF PLUSHIE AT MY DEN" party thing from a rude jammer who will not be named for reasons, so I decided to check it out.
The person said, "UGH IT'S FOR MEMBERS ONLY" to every non member there.
I had an arguement with them about how excluding people who don't have enough money is very rude and tried to talk sense into her. So, she just said, "OK WHATEVER NOW GET OUT" and kicked me. Lovely.
Jammers, I am very dissapoint.
QuickSilver out!
That's horrible! :( No one should treat NMs like that. AJ's community isn't as great as it used to be. D:
ReplyDeleteNo kidding. I find it very sad!
DeleteI know right. :(
ReplyDeleteI agree with the roleplaying thing.. people are just like that!
;-;
~cloud
what! That's a very rude jammer to disrespect members like that.. but it's happening all the time. :(
ReplyDeleteYa, roleplay got annoying with some people. They literally just scream at you. But my sister, our best friend on AJ and me make a very good time out of making this complex story/roleplay! :) Sometimes I think you have to find the right people.
I agree with you and what the others here are saying. ^^
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm now a member again, trust me on this guys, I KNOW how it feels like to be excluded as a nonmember. I started playing AJ around September 2012 and got my very first membership in July 2013. For that long amount of time, I couldn't have any member benefits and go to Members-only parties. People in the Pillow Room would be like "Adopt me, artic wolves only." and so forth. And that is why I am nice to nonmembers. c:
Now about role-playing "Clans." Not to seem rude or anything but Warrior Cats book series came out WAY before AJ even existed. So there always been fandom of Warriors on AJ. I know this because I'm kinda obsessed with Warriors and books like that. :P Ok so anyways, people who actually read the Warriors series should know that those Clanners aren't as violent as some AJ clanners. (well maybe not Tigerstar or Scourge) but still in the books the cats don't say "If you're a fat juicy bunny come to my den to be fresh kill." or "-attacks enemy until their head falls off-" seriously this makes me think O.O creepy... Maybe half or so the people saying "Clan my den." that turns out gruesome never even heard of Warriors! Why would you make a clan if you don't really know what it is? I know some peeps have their own made up named clans, but to the people referring to Warriors clans and don't even role-play like actual Warrior cats- is what I'm talking about. *is done with little Clan-Jammers rant.* :)
I completely agree with you. Although I never really knew warrior cats was older xD I meant like back then, the fandom wasn't as big.
Deleteso sad :'( i'm member but I would NEVER do that to nm
